Industry award wins, ground-breaking planning approvals and iconic development launches, 2016 continues to be one of Perri Projects' greatest years yet...

As major winners at the 2016 iProperty Best Development Awards, Perri Projects came out on top at one of the industry's most highly regarded award ceremonies.

Best Boutique Residential Development Award:
MODE in South Yarra; a collection of exceptional warehouse-style luxury apartments in one of Melbourne's most sought-after locations.

Best Modern Residential Development Award:
Albert Tower; a sold-out residential project, now one of Melbourne's leading landmark buildings.

Latest project:

The Englefield

Perri Projects' boutique luxury development on Chambers Street, South Yarra launched in March, setting a new benchmark in luxury living.

Paying homage to refined sophistication and luxury, The Englefield encompasses seven expansive apartments showcasing the finest materials and an abundance of natural light. The project is an unrivalled residential offering in one of Melbourne’s most prestigious locations.

Development Update:

South City Square

Construction across our joint venture with Pellicano Group, South City Square in Woolloongabba is progressing rapidly. Works commenced on Stage One earlier this year and major building works across Stage Two are set to commence in June.

This comes after a swift sell-out period for One South City and New Deshon; both towers reached 100 percent sold after just weeks on the market. Release of the third residential tower, The Mews has been brought forward to satisfy the growing demand from local home buyers.

Upcoming Project:

West Melbourne Waterfront

Our Planning Scheme Amendment C221 received unanimous support from the Future Melbourne Committee in late 2015. After a successful progression to public exhibition, the period concluded in May. An independent panel hearing is now scheduled for late 2016.

Amendment C221 will ensure the West Melbourne Waterfront site is successfully rezoned to Mixed Use, paving the way for our dynamic, master-planned urban renewal precinct to revitalise the area into a pre-eminent waterfront destination.

In a groundbreaking year for Perri Projects, the firm was awarded Best Developer Australasia at the 2015 OPP Awards for Excellence

In 2015 our team continued to expand while focus was on a number of new, substantial mixed-use projects due to launch to the market in 2016.

Signifying the beginning of an exciting chapter for the business, Perri Projects launched a rebrand which we are delighted to reveal to you here – the look and feel reflects a change in direction for Perri Projects as we enter new markets and forge further partnerships along the way.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey so far. We look forward to sharing an even bigger and exciting year with you in 2016.

MODE announced as Best Residential Development finalists at the 2016 Property Council Awards, taking place in Sydney this June.

Albert Tower Wins Award

Our iconic Albert Tower project in South Melbourne recently won a distinguished finalist award for Best Residential Development at the Property Council of Australia’s Innovation Awards for Excellence.

Earlier in 2015 the project received a commendation from the Australian Institute of Architects for the Multiple Residential category.

Completed in 2013, Albert Tower’s slimline design and iconic façade proved incredibly popular, with all apartments selling out within weeks.

Upcoming Project: West Melbourne Waterfront

Our pioneering urban regeneration precinct on West Melbourne Waterfront is reaching closer towards reality with City of Melbourne Council recently approving the site for public consultation.

After the close of the public consultation period we anticipate the site will be rezoned in the second quarter of 2016 with the launch of sales to follow soon after.

The Draft Future Urban Structure Plan

The Metropolitan Planning Authority (MPA), in consultation with relevant government agencies, has developed a draft Future Urban Structure plan for the Mt Atkinson and Tarneit Plains growth areas.

This draft plan shows how the land should be developed within Mt Atkinson PSP area (1050 hectares) and Tarneit Plains PSP area (485 hectares). It llustrates the location and amount of land required for housing, employment and retail uses, transport networks, open space, recreation, conservation, waterways, community infrastructure and for protection of heritage areas.

The plan reflects the community services and infrastructure necessary to support approximately 7,200 new homes (around 20,000 new residents) and up to 13,000 workers over the next 20 to 30 years. It builds on the ‘concept plan’ that was provided to landowners in October 2014, and will be used as the basis of the full Precinct Structure Plan document for public exhibition later this year.
